Manager, Sales Tax Audit - (Williamsville, NY)

Manages federal, state, local and Canadian income tax planning projects. Identifies tax issues and opportunities. Implements strategies upon identification of issues. Prepares position papers for issues. Sodexo, world leader in quality of life services, has a new opening for a Manager, Sales Tax Audit. The selected applicant has the option of working at our Williamsville, NY office or at our office in Simsbury, CT and applicants who are qualified local to either of these locations are encouraged to apply. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist State auditors during sales/use tax audits of Sodexo and its subsidiaries Perform tax research and review contracts in conjunction with tax audits Ensure all payments are made timely, all waivers signed and filed as necessary, and all protests and hearing dates are met Assist in the implementation of corrective action plans developed during an audit Prepare audit protests and work with auditors to ensure min tax liability
