Field Technician - (Lincoln, CA)

We are currently seeking an Environmental Technician in the Lincoln, CA area to operate and maintain landfill gas (LFG) recovery and migration control systems. Qualifications: - Conduct LFG field tests using portable instrumentation. - Coordinate with facility supervisors in repairing/modifying the LFG collection system. - Schedule required calibration/maintenance. - Acquire, test, and record data on the operation of the LFG collection system. - Maintain and operate various test/safety and construction equipment and tools - Utilize PC based landfill gas management and ms word processing software to prepare reports. - Monitor sample points. - 40 hour tech cert, OSHA Duties as follows: - Prepare technical reports. - Fulfill other responsibilities as required by supervisor. - Respond to afterhours callouts in the event of system failures. - Operate and perform maintenance on the LFG flare system. - Adjust LFG flow rates from wells to minimize gas emissions from the field.
