Lead Supervisor - all shifts - (Bluffton, IN)

This position reports directly to the Plant Manager ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Be able to perform all Production Supervisor duties and perform in their absence. Ensure all Production Supervisor duties are performed on shift, report and correct any deviations. Train, interview, and evaluate any new Production Supervisors on shift. Plans, directs, and coordinates production activities and priorities to obtain max efficiency of operations and profit. Reviews, develops, and implements methods, procedures, and reports to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. Provides direction to shift Production Supervisors. Assumes responsibility for costs, methods, operations, quality, and quantity of production. Ensures continuous improvement as a part of every operation and effectively implements it throughout the plant. Conducts production meetings and assures operational documentation is understood and proper procedures are implemented. Manages departmental performances and activities for shift.
