Power Plant Maintenance Mechanic - (Grand Island, NE)

POWER PLANT MAINTNEANCE MECHANIC PLATTE GENERATING STATION Perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of the electric production plants including work on plant machinery, equipment and tools. Two Years of experience performing maintenance on industrial mechanical equipment or performing similar duties in a steam power generation facility. Requires training equivalent of the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training in mechanical maintenance & repair or a related position. Possession of, or expertise to obtain and maintain, an appropriate, valid driver's license. Possession of, or expertise to obtain and maintain, an appropriate, valid Class IV Water Operator's license within 18 mons of date of hire. Residency required within 6 mons of hire. Compensation range: $29.79 - $37.10 hourly plus great benefits. Applicants are subject to a experience investigation and post-offer/pre-employment physical and drug screen.
