Outreach Worker - (Sandusky, OH)

Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio seeks energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professionals to join its expanding team. As a statewide organization, we have over 800 committed and caring/compassionate employees working in multiple impact areas. The Outreach Worker will be responsible for identifying and providing outreach services to homeless or at-risk Veteran families, residing on the streets, shelters, hunger programs or in places not meant for human habitation. The incumbent will provide assistance to individuals in immediate need of services such as mental health treatment, drug/alcohol treatment, shelter, food, clothing, and transportation. The Outreach Worker will serve as the initial point of contact to link and utilize available community network systems. Preferred applicants will have a High-school diploma with a min of 2 years background in a related area. EOE
