Production Sanitation Supervisor, 3rd Shift 56000 - (Hammond, IN)

Responsibilities: Supervising and training production personnel on the third shift; Using multi-lingual English/Spanish skills to communicate with all personnel; Ensuring adherence to safe work practices, following GMPs, Recognizing and taking steps to resolve operating and maintenance problems; Monitoring quality control programs to maintain USDA qualifications, sanitary conditions, Food Safety and Food Quality; Maintaining records for timecards, downtime records, absentee records, etc.; Inspecting machines and equipment to ensure operational performance and utilization; Reviewing production and operating reports and maintaining departmental cost controls.
