Newburgh office of our client seeks trust and estate attorney with 7+ years of background. The applicant will be presenting estate planning options and alert clients to changes in tax laws affecting plans. Will be keeping clients and firm informed of estate planning developments by providing explanations of legal concepts. Preparing simple and complex trust and estate instruments and instruments related to asset conveyances. Providing advice and prepare documents for business succession planning for closely-held companies, coordinated with the owners estate planning. Advising executors and trustees and supervised firm paralegals during administration. Representing trusts and estates before tax authorities. Forming charitable organizations and foundations, including Applications for Exemption and governance documentation. Should have LL.M. degree in tax or estate planning. Must have a portable book of business. Background with closely-held business entities and governance is a must.
