Shipping & Receiving Supervisor - (Fort Wayne, IN)

Job DescriptionFort Wayne, IN manufacturer is searching for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Supervisor. This position is contract for 90 days and then shifts to a direct-hire position with the company. The perfect candidate must have three to 5 yrs of pertinent background.The responsibilities for this opportunity include:· Prepare proper Bill of Lading paperwork.· Perform appropriate customer contact as a result of and as required by each individual customer's shipments.· Logs and maintains shipping log daily.· Pulls product for shipment in accordance with pick tickets for upcoming shipments.· Maintains appropriate BOL shipping files by customer.· Maintains current work instructions for all shipping functions.· Maintains trucking company files and contacts.· Processes special shipping requests.· Works with Customer Service to ensure shipments are scheduled and picked up on time.· Load and unload trucks in the shipping docks.· Manage all shipping and receiving personnel.Receiving:· Logs
