Disabilities Specialist - (Ocean Springs, MS)

This position identifies Head Start (3-five years. old) and Early Head Start (infants and toddlers) with disabilities and promotes school readiness by providing technical assistance, mentoring, and training to the staff and agency. This position will coordinate culturally responsive, integrated service delivery of child development and disabilities services that support families and learning environments to enhance children's cognitive, social and emotional development and to promote children's growth in language, literacy, mathematics, science, social and emotional development, creative arts, physical development, and approaches to learning. This position will require work related driving. BS degree in special education or related fields with proven skills and background working with disability or mental health services for preschool children.
