Behavioral Health Technician - (Richmond, IN)
The Behavioral Health Technician assists clients with daily living activities and tracks, monitors and documents client behaviors and interactions. The Behavioral Health Technician also plans therapeutic recreation for groups; steers department philosophy toward purposeful interventions and therapies; works with other clinical staff on special projects and duties; leads individual and group activities with clients; and communicates professionally and respectfully with clients and the treatment team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Observes and documents client compliance with medication regimes as dictated in the treatment plan; and assists clinical staff in meeting and monitoring the clients medical and health care needs. Assists in the implementation of agency programs as specified by supervisor; facilitates group activities according to program schedule; and implements individualized care plans as developed by the treatment team.
