Site Safety Manager - construction - (Des Moines, IA)

The Waldinger Corporation seeks a dynamic individual to join our team! This person will use their strong technical safety background to lead our safe-production efforts. The Site Safety Manager will be an energetic self-starter. This individual will serve as the strategic catalyst for communicating and managing our site safety plan. Critical responsibilities: Manage the new hire orientation process Lead pre-planning meetings Create and communicate JHA's covering major work components Apply an existing site safety plan to our production practices and make recommendations for improvement Evaluate the performance of field employees Facilitate with issue solving Develop and present topic-specific safety training.
