Chemical Handler / Tank Farm - (East Providence, RI)

DESCRIPTION The Chemical Handler is responsible for the loading and unloading of bulk chemicals in the tank farm. The Chemical Handler will also support the movement and storage of drums, totes, gallon chemicals, and raw materials. DUTIES Unload incoming bulk chemical shipments from road tanker trucks (or future railcars) into Aspens bulk chemical storage tanks (Tank Farm) per standard procedures, Load outgoing ethanol shipments from Aspens bulk chemical storage tanks (Tank Farm) into road tanker trucks per standard operating procedures. Maintain an accurate inventory and status of road tanker trailers in the yard and update daily on the board. Perform daily unloading and loading checklists. Submit to Supply Chain Lead upon completion. Monitor tank farm equipment status and coordinate any required repair/maintenance activities as found (specifically excluding responsibility for routine preventive maintenance and physical equipment repairs).
