Clinical Lab Scientist Lead - (San Luis Obispo, CA)

About This Position Clinical Lab Scientist Lead coordinates, and participates in all activities of assigned section of the laboratory. In collaboration actively participates and assists the service area specialist in any administrative functions assigned and helps ensure the efficient daily operation of the Laboratory Department in accordance with the Laboratory Customer Service Standards. Rotates shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, following written notice. Selection Criteria Two or more years of background as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist with demonstrated expertise to supervise and instruct. Min of a Bachelor"s degree plus 1yr"s training in a school of Clinical Laboratory Science approved by the California State Department of Public Health or equivalent. Basic management courses are highly desirable. Must exhibit strong leadership and management skills.
