Job OverviewJob OverviewSummary About the Agency Business Component: Office of the Administrator, Assistant Administrator for NextGen, ANG-1Duties The Pathways Internship Program serves as 1 of the agency's succession planning programs intended to assist in the need for leadership continuity by employing outstanding students that are enrolled in a major that leads to a bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (S.T.E.M). The Program provides students, in accredited colleges and universities, with paid opportunities to explore federal careers while completing their education.We are looking for highly motivated student interns with an expected graduation beyond 2018, to help with FAA succeed in its Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) research efforts. NextGen uses 21st Century technologies to meet future demands, improve aviation safety, and protect the environment.
