Director of Lean Six Sigma - (Mason, OH)

GENERAL FUNCTION The Lean 6 Sigma Director leads and coordinates the efforts of the central labs to approach problems and opportunities in a structured methodology, helping to translate the shop floor view and KPI to the management financial impact on the plant/network. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates projects and activities related to manufacturing continuous improvement/Lean manufacturing. Defines a system to rank the projects priorities and methodology to approach (PDCA-DMAIC). Plans and executes (directly or with 3rd party support) the needed training to deploy the execution of the projects to each facility/department. Defines plan to create a pipeline of WHITE/YELLOW/GREEN/BLACK belt applicants with target projects/saving related to each level. Defines and implements a dashboard to monitor the status and advancement of the projects and works with finance to certify the savings achieved and the impact on the plant KPIs.
