PAYROLL TECHNICIAN HUMAN RESOURCES/PAYROLL DEPARTMENT The City of Elizabethton is accepting applications for a Payroll Technician in the Human Resources Department. This position verifies and processes payroll, prepares direct deposits, payroll tax deposits and other required State and Federal filings. Min qualifications: high-school certificate or GED equivalent and previous related skills, Preferred qualifications: 1 yr certificate from college or technical school and five or more years payroll/accounting background and knowledge of Word, Ms excel & Outlook.
