Product Engineer - (Marshall, IL)

GENERAL SUMMARY: Coordinates manufacturing costs for quote, design for manufacturing, pre-production builds and production launch through involvement of cross-functional teams. Manages multiple projects at once. Manages team budget. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Input design for manufacturing criteria to design engineering for the introduction of new products. Develop/provide product/customer specific documentation (i.e.. Process instructions, process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA). Identify capital equipment appropriations (CEA's) and unique tooling required for new product implementation. Coordinate the implementation of all design verification, process verification builds and new product launch activities. Support process group in process/tooling development for all product specific processes. Utilize statistical techniques to summarize data to use in presentations. Work together with quality group to insure that customer complaints are resolved.
