SUMMARYPackages materials and products manually by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lines, pads, and assembles cartons.Obtains and sorts product.Places properly filled and sealed retail packages into shipping cartons.Closes and seals containers by either using automatic case taper, or by hand.Places properly filled shipping carton on pallet using appropriate patterns.Places proper labels, tags, or inventory info on pallet of finished product.Hand packs special candies by weight or count to specification.Packs special arrangements or selections of product for unique store displays.Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process and immediately notifies lead packer, line operator or supervisor if not correct.Records info such as weight, time, and date packaged.Keeps production line areas clean by moving skids, stacks of product
