Production Manager - Chemical Engineer - (Grove City, OH)

Our client, a privately held global leader in the production of biologically active molecules for use in food and pharmaceutical applications, requires an experienced chemical engineer to lead a team of production personnel at their Columbus area manufacturing facility. The perfect candidate will combine a degree in chemical engineering with prior background leading operators in a chemical production environment. This position reports to the Plant Manager. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the production department including process optimization, scheduling, cost control, EH&S compliance, employee engagement and customer satisfaction. Work to ensure all maintenance activities are properly coordinated in accordance with the reliability based maintenance program. Develop, propose and manage annual budgets. Collaborate with other site and corporate functions to ensure goals and objectives are met in a timely fashion.
