Planning EngineerThermoPac, a high speed food packaging company located in Stone Mountain, GA, is seeking a self-motivated, results-orientated individual to assume responsibilities as a Planning Engineer. Assignments include but are not limited to:• Deciding on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each project stage• Making estimations for timescales and costs• Supervising the project at all stages and providing solutions to problems• Maintains and updates stationary & rotating equipment technical records, prepares technical reports, helps in generating data for inputs to budgets, improvement in maintenance methods/procedures, equipment replacement, etc.• Sets up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates• Interpreting P&IDs (piping and instrumentation design), schematics, and technical drawings• Supervising installation, operation
