Paralegal/Legal Assistant 3 mnth contract opportunity. We are in need of a temporary paralegal to work in a fast-paced, high-volume insurance defense litigation office. The applicant should have several years of background in civil litigation, especially insurance defense or personal injury litigation. The applicant should have a thorough understanding of the discovery process, and be able to draft pleadings and discovery responses. Our office is paperless, so the applicant should also be technologically proficient. The applicant should have outstanding communication and customer service skills. Finally, the applicant should have a strong commitment to excellence and the expertise to work unaided, with minimal attorney supervision.
