Library Director - (Columbus, NE)

POSITION: Library Director Pay Scale $51,420 to $71,964. This is highly responsible professional and administrative work in planning, organizing, and directing all public library and details services activities of the Columbus Public Library. MLS degree and 5 yrs of Librarian background required. The Director serves as the chief administrative officer for the Library Board and is charged with implementing policies and programs of the Board for the benefit of its citizens. Work is performed with wide latitude in interpreting policies, rules, and regulations under the policy direction of the Library and the administrative direction of the City Administrator. Supervision is exercised directly or through subordinates over all library employees and the incumbent is responsible for maintenance of the library building and grounds. Critical functions:
