Quality Specialist - (Marlborough, MA)

The Quality Specialist is a newly created position based at our recently opened manufacturing facility in Marlborough, MA - within the Greater Boston Area. This is a hands on position in which the successful applicant will be working with our fabrication department to ensure compliance of our optical components to the required specifications. Quality Specialist is responsible for the inspection of our optical components, maintaining the proper documentation, and performing transactions in our ERP system. Using metrology equipment including but not limited to calipers, microscopes, interferometers, profilometers and optical comparators, and laser based set-ups in order to inspect optical components and ensure compliance to the drawing. Perform incoming, in process, 1st article and final inspection. Complete, review, and maintain acceptance documentation Perform applicable transactions in our ERP system Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Maintain and order supplies for the department.
