Heavy Duty Mechanic Mechanic – B Level tech or C level with Certifications Island Transportation Corp., a tanker company, has been in the business of delivering gasoline products to service stations for 60 yrs. We are seeking qualified Heavy Duty Mechanics Mechanics will be offered a steady schedule with year round work and two consecutive days off. This is a union environment with good starting pay. Pay increases after in the 1st year, as well as enrollment in our generous benefits program of Medical, Dental and Life Insurance and paid holidays, personal days, sick days and vacation. Assignments include PM Service on Volvo/Freightliner Power Units – Brakes, Oil changes, electrical and air system Running Repairs in busy 24/7 shop.
