Graphic Artist - (Lynchburg, VA)

Graphic Artist The News & Advance is looking for a part-time graphic artist and an intern graphic artist who is creative, driven, and excited about graphic design. This position is responsible for creating and producing ad materials to be published in the Lynchburg News and Advance and its affiliated publications, including creation of spec. layouts for presentation to and approval by the Lynchburg News and Advance clients. This support includes ordering ads, proofing ads with customers, working as liaison to sales representation in making corrections or changes, preparing adjustments, working directly with customers via phone and email. Applicant must have at least 2 yrs of background in advertising design and production. Must be an expert in design including proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and running Windows and PCs.
