Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired Substitute positions in a residential school setting for students with visual impairments and other disabilities: Teachers Educational Assistants Child Care Counselors LTE Teachers Provide classroom instruction and assistance. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a substitute teacher with DPI. Rate of pay is $17.07/hour. LTE Educational Assistants Assist in classroom instruction, supervision and personal care needs of students. Must be li-censed or eligible for licensure as a Special Education Program Aide with DPI. Hours are 6:30-3:00. Rate of pay is $12.91/hour. LTE Child Care Counselors Assist in residential supervision and personal care. Evening or overnight hours. Long term overnight hours available.
