Formulation Scientist II; Soft Dosage Forms - (Lancaster, SC)

Summary of the Position: The Formulation Scientist II will provide product development support to a wide spectrum of growth/quality/cost savings projects from ideation through commercialization under direction of the Principle, Formulation Scientist. Additionally, this position will work with operations, marketing/business teams, and other functional partners; acting as product development support on cross functional new product development and quality improvement/cost savings teams. Roles and Responsibilities: - Collaborating with Principle, Formulations Scientist and product/process development team to investigate, plan, execute, evaluate and report on new product development projects. - Compile and provide summaries of stability data on soft chew projects. - Evaluate new ingredients or flavors to improve soft chew formula, curing, or texture for manufacturability. - Create batch records and revise batch records for all scale up or production batches.
