Technician - Cable - (Shreveport, LA)

Job DescriptionA cable technician performs work on cable televisions, telephones, high speed internet connections and other data installations in a professional manner at customers' residence or business. The technician is assigned a daily service route that may include tasks from a new installation to service upgrades and explains all services to the customer to ensure the customer is completely comfortable using all the amenities provided.ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:- Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.- Work consistently during the day, standing, climbing, crawling, kneeling, squatting, bending and lifting.- Expertise to carry, climb, and maneuver an 80-pound, 28-foot extension ladder.- Operate independently.- Strong work ethic relating to quality and attendance.- Complete a quality installation to BRIS standards.- Accurately complete essential paperwork.- Dedicated to working with a "Safety 1st" attitude.- Customer service skills are a must.- Experience is preferred
