Position : Buyer Location : Everett, WA Summary Description: Negotiate, place and manage purchase orders with suppliers and vendors in response to requisitions for materials, goods and services to meet company on-time delivery and quality objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage commodities based on MRP qualifications to ensure no stock-outs, with minimal inventory using order modifiers and policies. • Develop long and short-range procurement strategies that ensure quality material supply with minimal cost. Negotiate prices and delivery schedules to ensure lowest price and min inventory consistent with purchasing economics. • Drive increasing inventory turns by developing, implementing and managing innovative material replenishment processes. • Responsible for day-to-day management of suppliers/vendors to ensure on-time delivery and quality of purchased items. • Support a variety of department regarding material availability, multiple sourcing and costs.
