POSITION DESCRIPTION Assist Lions at country, district and club level in assigned region with the development, review and implementation of grants related to SightFirst initiatives. Communicate goals of the various LCIF SightFirst grant programs to Lions and non-Lions worldwide.Maintain relationships with public and private partnerships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist local Lions to identify regional blindness prevention needs and appropriate responses within the SightFirst grant criteria. Communicate the SightFirst criteria and funding philosophy to grant candidates through correspondence and presentations Review and process grant applications in assigned geographic and programmatic areas. Assist with the implementation and financial management of approved projects. Prepare grant summaries for the SightFirst Advisory Committee's consideration.
