Chemist Supervisor - (Webster City, IA)

We are looking for management-level Chemist within in a Quality Department. Assignments include: Perform analytical and physical tests on formulated product. Set up equipment for testing and ensure accurate results. This includes a variety of laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, particle size detectors, viscometers, etc. Train and supervise lab personnel in proper analytical procedures. Ensure tests are performed properly and on a timely basis, Help develop and maintain procedures to comply with ISO 9000 and IS0 14000 standards. Follow and enforce company policies and safety regulations. Emphasizing the importance of safe work habits, including wearing necessary safety equipment and protecting the safety of co-workers. Work with an aim toward max productivity and the highest standard of quality. Search for ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Report ideas for cost savings to supervisor or other management personnel. Preparation of data to import into computer system to generate reports
