SummaryThe primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership, supervision and guidance to 29 skilled maintenance employees to minimize mechanical downtime and optimize preventative maintenance efforts. This position manages the labor, material, and overhead costs associated with electrical, processing and packaging maintenance using the work order and Computerized Maintenance Management System. Provides customer support for internal and external customers (i.e. Production, Purchasing, MRO, Building and Support, Project Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, etc.). This position also develops a high performance team that is self-managing, motivating, innovative and provides growth for individuals within the team.Job FunctionsEssential Functions: Maintenance:Provide direction for maintaining and operating all physical equipment to ensure proper utilization; investigate and eliminate, where possible, any mechanical or maintenance problem which would affect production schedules.
