Principal Software Engineer - (Marlborough, MA)

Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for leading the department in the area of software engineering within our Software engineering Lifecycle and regulatory standards and divisional procedures. * Responsible for defining and translating design objectives into an acceptable program of appropriate engineering personnel, schedules, and specifications. * Perform complex software engineering functions, which require a high degree of technical competence. * Perform engineering analysis, performance and hardware/software tradeoff evaluations of system designs. * Facilitate all of the design and implementation phases of a program consistent with divisional standards and goals. * Support budgeting and tracking info associated with program development. * Define and review status of objectives and milestones with engineers and development partners on a regular basis and provide program status reports to management.
