Company Profile: http://www.unitrans-us.com/images/logo.png Position details: As an Airfreight Agent Your initial duties and assignments include, but are not limited to, the following: Receive documentation from shippers, customers and review, verify shipping documents Develop and provide shipping solutions to customers/agents Responsible to ensure all documentation for export is available and in compliance with US Customs and TSA regulations. Maintain contact with customers by phone or in person and receives orders for processing, delivery, discontinuance, or change in service. Issue formal quotation and follow up on these with customer and or agent Prepare documents such as bills of lading/AWB s, export declarations, certificates of origin and related documents Manage cut-offs and shipment pickups, deliveries and shipment configuration in cooperation with warehouse. Respond to customer and agent questions related to current shipments and expedite shipment as necessary.
