The Mount Airy News, a vibrant local daily newspaper is seeking an energetic and passionate staff writer/photographer to cover news and features. This position specializes in court and police reporting, but handles a variety of other news, feature, and general assignment work. General news writing and photography background is preferred, though we'll train the right candidate. Candidate must be willing to cover night and weekend events.
