Chief Commercial Building Inspector - (Spartanburg, SC)

Position: Chief Commercial Building Inspector Requisition Number: 2015-2330-01 S&ME, Inc., a geoprofessional and design consulting firm, is seeking a full time, experienced ICC Certified Chief Commercial Building-Electrical-Plumbing-Mechanical Inspector to be based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Expertise to be registered with the South Carolina LLR Code Enforcement Officer Registration program and OSF/OSE is required. Some travel will be required. Responsibilities include (but not be limited to): Performing site visits for building code and specifications compliance; Preparation of inspection reports; Training and mentoring of staff; Client development; Supporting and leading expansion into new (but related) services; Work scope and proposal preparation; Good communication with design professionals, contractors, and project managers.
