Accountant - The Woodlands, TX - (Spring, TX)

Fortune 100 healthcare services company in The Woodlands, TX is currently looking to hire a Shared Services Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with 1 of the largest and fastest growing companies in the country. The Shared Services Accountant will be responsible for month end close and Financial consolidation. The ideal candidate will have 1- two years of Microsoft excel, Access and PeopleSoft. Required responsibilities: Preparing Journal entries GL Account reconciliation and variance analysis SOX Compliance internal controls Financial reporting and Ad hoc reports Min Job Requirements: 5+ years accounting background. 4-year degree in accounting or related position or equivalent background. Current understanding of PeopleSoft, ImageNow, nVision, and Blackline helpful. Expert in Microsoft excel preferred, includes daily use of pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc.
