TABC Agent Trainee $3673.50 Monthly - (Austin, TX)

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) Agent performs entry-level alcoholic beverage enforcement work. Work involves regulating the alcoholic beverage industry in Texas and enforcing the state's Alcoholic Beverage Code. Works under close supervision during the probationary period which includes an intensive field training program and academy. Must be willing to work shifts as assigned including nights, weekends and holidays, with days and hours that are subject to change. The Agent I position is the 1st step of a career ladder, which over a twenty year period may advance the Agent to the rank of Senior Agent. Opportunities with TABC include Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief and Chief. The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) provide an option for further exploration of criminal activities. Examples of Duties : Enforces the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, the Texas Penal Code and other applicable statutes.
