Field Service (Registration Required) - (Kentwood, MI)

Job duties: This job necessitates regular and consistent travel to Customer plants, foreign and domestic, troubleshooting and repairing electrical / electronic systems on customer machine tools. Diagnose complex technical problems and perform on site repairs. Troubleshoot and repair Fanuc / Siemens CNC control and servo systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Diagnose and resolve PLC, CNC, and part program software performance problems. Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via remote diagnostics. Provide formal electrical / electronic classroom training in proper use / function of customer machines in Customer plants. Requirements and Educational Requirements: 2 Yr electronic or technical degree with a working understanding of Fanuc and Siemens CNC controls systems. 3 (3) to 5 (5) years background with gear manufacturing processes and customer equipment preferred. Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times.
