Nightshift Warehouse Materials Supervisor - (Danville, PA)

POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse/ Materials Supervisor is responsible to in direct the materials shipping, receiving and handling activities. The person in this position will have some additional responsibilities for safety supervision for nightshift. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Trains, directs, delegates, supervises and otherwise coordinates the efforts of the forklift operators and others in the materials department. Conducts responsibilities in accordance with the organization's processes, policies and applicable regulations. Assist with safety supervision on nightshift. Makes effective decisions regarding materials handling and locating issues and directs solutions. Coordinates with Materials/ Purchasing Manager, Plant Manager, and production management in decisions regarding issues of large scale. Conducts performance management of the people in the department. Manages daily work assignments and responsibilities including overtime qualifications.
