Insurance Verification Representative - (Traverse City, MI)

AccessPoint Traverse City is currently searching for an Insurance Verification Rep for busy medical office. Full-time position Monday through Friday, eight hour shifts. Must be flexible to meet all shift qualifications. Under moderate supervision, will be admitting all patients and assisting patient family members. Assignments include billing and insurance verification, collections, and handling copays. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: 1. Min 2 to 4yrs related background 2. Demonstrated interpersonal communication abilities in order to facilitate effective interaction with a variety of health care professionals and personnel. 3. Expertise to work unaided and to organize and to prioritize work effectively to achieve the Surgery Center's goals. 4. Keyboard skills of 50 wpm min. 5. Expertise to operate computer, various software packages, copy machine, fax machine and other machines.
