Applied Social Scientist The NSA Psychological Assessment Services provides a wide range of psychological evaluations and consultations focusing on personnel selection and clearance suitability. The incumbent will work as part of a group of clinical psychologists. In this position, the incumbent will: Contribute to the design, development, validation, of psychological processes Perform all phases of the research process, including problem definition, planning, execution, analysis, interpretation and reporting results; determine the proper interpretation and use of research findings in collaboration with clinical psychologists; develop new approaches, methods, techniques and hypotheses related to assigned projects; and create data collection plans or databases, when necessary. Contribute to basic and applied research projects seeking to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of psychological assessment processes. Write technical reports to document all components of the assessment development process.
