Automated Production Equipment - Controls Engineer - (New Troy, MI)

Seeking experienced Controls Design Engineer with background building, testing, modifying, and programming controls hardware and software for production machinery. *** Work with mechanical and electrical design engineers to design controls hardware and integrate controls software programs. *** Source, evaluate, and select PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) hardware; Program, test, and debug machine controllers; Connect, test, troubleshoot, program, and debug robot attachments; Develop, program, troubleshoot, and modify HMI (Human Machine Interface) programs. Candidates must have background programming controllers and HMIs from Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens, or similar manufacturers. Must be able to travel frequently. Must have a technical or Associates Degree in electrical engineering or similar.
