Robotic Welding Engineer - (Grand Rapids, MI)

Excellent opportunity for a degreed engineer to join an employee focused company creating industry leading automation systems utilizing the most advanced robotics systems on the market. Shall oversee the design, prototyping, programming, tooling, testing, and commissioning of robotic welding equipment involving novel articulating arms and specialty effectors (End of Arm Tooling) as well as highly customized single purpose welding robots. Required experience: *** Designing and developing methods, tooling, materials, and processes with welding robots such as Fanuc, ABB, Nachi, IGM, and Motoman. *** Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing weld equipment and developing resolutions to production errors. *** Inspecting weld robots and weld fixtures ensuring equipment matches customer qualifications. *** Evaluating ongoing developments in the field of automated welding for potential application to current welding processes.
