Senior Design Engineer - Custom Machines - (Seneca, SC)

Join an industry leading company specializing in system and machine design for industrial equipment for applications within: Automotive, Material Handling, Medical Devices, Consumer Goods, Aerospace, Packaging, Machine Tending, Composites, Plastics, Steel, Wood, etc. The ideal candidate will be expected to design mechanical components using 3D CAD software: Pro-E (PTC Creo), SolidWorks, AutoDesk Inventor, etc. Evaluate customer qualifications and translate them into design specifications. Review designs, material selection, fabrication processes, and finishing processes to identify and resolve issues. Specify standard components and materials, select catalog parts, and source 3rd party vendors for custom orders. Create, update, and modify machine drawings, diagrams, layouts, schematics, bills of materials (BOM), floorplans, etc.
