Thorough knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid is a MUST. Previous background working with CPT,HCPCS and revenue coding in a hospital setting is also needed,as well as hospital billing and systems background.strongDEGREE REQUIREMENTS:/strong1. Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science degree highly preferred.2. Meditech / Cirius background a big plus.strongSALARY:/strong$51,000 to $67,000 per year,based on background.
