Manager, Contract Oversight (Military Veterans Wanted!) - (Brooklyn, NY)

Description About the Position: To manage and have oversight of all company contractors performing the installation of gas facilities, restoration and paving work to ensure the safe and reliable maintenance and installation of the transmission and distribution systems consistent with company goals and policies, customer requirements, and in full compliance with governmental codes and regulations. Position assignments (including but not limited to): Lead, motivate and develop a team of supervisors and union personnel, prioritize work, manage absence time, invoicing audit and other processes and allocate resources in order to ensure projectsand work are delivered within budgetary, cost and time limitations and also in line with statutory requirements and company goals. Monitor and review all contractor work across a specific region to ensure appropriate use of resources, acceptable levels of productivity, cost effective/efficient installation methods, and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
