DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Compiles evidence and supporting info by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries, and databases Interview clients, 3rd parties, and expert witnesses Prepare legal documents for attorney's approval Maintain document control system Oversee cases by managing files and documents Coordinate with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts. Process settlement papers and payments. Prepare for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files. REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years background Personal Injury law 2+ years Workers' Compensation *law* Litigation background a plus Case Management software background Microsoft office suite proficiency Analyze & summarize medical records Dealing with Complex issues Legal Research and Written correspondence skills Multi-tasking Detail Oriented/Highly Organized Maintain Client Relationships
