Buyer, Global Supply Chain This position is responsible for planning and procuring components and raw materials which support material qualifications based on the production schedules and customer qualifications. This role requires analysis of MRP, negotiation with suppliers, PO placement, and follow up of delivery dates. SUMMARYResponsible for planning and procuring components and raw materials which support material qualifications based on the production schedules and customer qualifications. This role requires analysis of MRP, negotiation with suppliers, PO placement, and follow up of delivery dates. Responsible for processing returned material and resolving payment issues as well as resolving supplier performance problems. Will be accountable for material inventory levels of the parts they plan/procure.
