Product Designer CREO - (St Joseph, MI)

This is a long-term contract opportunity onsite at our client's facility in Benton Harbor, MI with the opportunity to convert to perm. This is a designer role NOT an engineering role. Looking for designers that will be working on various components from wire harness, oven cavity or sheetmetal parts in Pro Engineer. Responsibilities could include, drawing a plastic or die cast console in Pro Engineer; running a trial on a new component; or using critical thinking to design a plastic or die cast part. You will be writing Engineering Change Notices and making bill of material changes. Participate in the use of Robust Design tools (OPEX / 6 Sigma , FMEA, FEA, CAE, etc.) to ensure rigorous designs, which meet trade partner and Consumer demands. You might be performing a tolerance analysis.
